Chris Oley probably tells it best in their newsletter...

"For me on a personal level it is also a time of change as I have decided to take a sabbatical from six.byseven. After finding myself on the end of yet another barrage of abuse from Chris Davis, our part time ill tempered drummer, who, in his defence, was quite clearly suffering from the newly found strains, stresses and responsibilities of becoming a part time Dad, I finally decided enough is enough. The band 'reformed' in spring 2006, and because of Chris Davis, we have been unable to record or release any new material in 2 years. Now that we have lanced this ruthless and petulant boil from our collective arse's perhaps we can all move on."

Apparently they're finishing sorting out the live release they were going to do and they'll release the demos they'd been working on at some point as well, then that's that.
