My band needs a singer or a singer/guitarist (90's indie stuff)

we're called St Pierre. currently a 3 piece (guitar, bass drums) with a set of songs written.

none of us can sing, which sucks. we'd like someone to sing, or sing and play guitar, male or female, similar sort of age to us (19-24).

we've all played in some bands before, mainly the Lucida Console, Hands That Built and the Lodger, if you need references that we can actually play instruments.

here's a list of some bands we would consider influences on the sound:

80/90's stuff: Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, Teenage Fanclub, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, early Idlewild, Beezewax, Superchunk, Fugazi, the Lemonheads, Hüsker Dü etc etc

and this side of the 00's, we like stuff like: Stapleton, Avast!, Distophia, Calories, Dananananaykroyd, Johnny Foreigner, Copy Haho blah blah blah

you get the picture.

we currently practice in Halifax, which is 20 minutes away from Leeds, but it's also v close to Huddersfield and Bradford.

we have some extremely lo-fi (read: recorded with a single microphone in the centre of the practice room), vocaless recordings of 4 songs if you're interested and want to hear what we sound like.
