In February this year at the club night in Glasgow I co-run Pin Ups we had a "Pin Up Nights Ladies Night" featuring DJ sets from The Pipettes, the girls from Sons and Daughters, Manda Rin (Bis), Susan Hay (Xfm) and 3 local bands fronted by girls. I'm starting to thnk of doing something similar in 2009 and I'm wondering who I should be looking to get signed up. Lauren Laverne has already politely declined, citing work commitments. Louise Wener is now a writer though I'm hopeful of getting her involved. I've been speaking to The Kabeedies from Norwich about maybe playing live...

Any advice/tips would be great.
