Music Social More…

are the vocals always the key to enjoying music?

michael_w [Edit] [Delete] 22:48, 11 November '08

surely they must be

i cant see how you could let a voice grate but still enjoy the music regardless, unless you pushed through until you eventually found something you liked in the vocals.

or is this just one of those points that is so bloody obvious, it goes full circle until some tosser (ahem) tries to pass it off as some sort of insight. it must be musnt it? no voice, no tunes.

anyway, los campesinos were what got me thinking. ive tried, i really have, buts its just his voice....im afraid im going to have to throw the towl on this one.

so any other bands who vocals will always keep you at arms length from otherwise, possibly enjoyable songs?

first one to say wild beasts gets a half eaten toffee crisp
