How do you think this would hold up if it was released now? Obviously, Oasis have got a lot to answer for an a fair amount of the gobshite 'lad bands' that are around at the moment are a direct result of Oasis

But I'm reading The Last Party at the moment, and it's prompted me to dust off Definitely Maybe for the first time in a couple of years. I'm not sure how much nostalgia has to do with it, but it still sounded pretty awesome. I don't think Liam's voice has ever sounded better than it does on Columbia and Slide Away

So if it was released now, would it just get brushed under the carpet, or is there enough there for it to stand out and actually achieve some level of success?
