Oh dear. what a waste of money.
to be fair to them, the sound guy was fucking shite and didnt even bother turning their mic on till half way through the set, but despite the crappy sound (their guitar amp wasnt even mic'd up, which to me is ridiculous with a vast part of their 'sound' coming from the guitar parts) anyway, despite the sound, the band sounded pretty crap anyway. basically, everything just turned into a nasty incoherent dirge. (and not in a good way, just in a way that sounded like you were next door listening through the wall with a glass to your ear.)
It picked up towards the end with the aid of a strobe light and a smoke machine, but i usually want more from my gigs than a nice light show.
Overall, a dissapointment, 4/10.
