Does anyone else have an influx of 2008 (depending on the year you are in at the time) album buying towards the end of the year? I'm just on a big intake of extra 2008 stuff before the year is out. Just so that when I compile my list of favourite albums, I'll be able to be more confident that I have got what I love on it. Plus, I make a compilation cd that I give to friends of my favourite 2008 songs, so it's an extra incentive to buy a whole heap of stuff.

End of year time is also great in seeing other lists to suddenly discover some albums you may have missed. So whilst I disapprove of lists being created early (still so much to discover!), it does help me in my searches. Emusic has also helped to add to the great amount of albums I have been getting/gambling on too.

and am looking out for/contemplating other bands.

Anyone else have a similar end of year jolly time? Or are other folk too cool/sensible to worry about such?
