We went to the Slow Club gig at the Union Chapel, t'other night and were struck by the differences between an 'Indie' gig and a 'Folkie' gig. The list is endless but some of them were

The prevalence of boxing day jumpers
The bar served tea and it was in mugs
The queue to leave was terribly polite
