Ok, besides the usual 'best christmas album in the world ever' compilations this is an attempt to find out what Christmas albums are worth looking out for each December.

I'll start the ball rolling by suggesting:

It's A Cool Cool Christmas (Various indie heads, 2001)
The original A Very Special Christmas (because Christmas in Hollis is on it!)
War on Christmas (series - 3 volumes thusfar)
An Indiecater Christmas (a new one for 2008, www.indiecater.com)
