Nightmares on Wax are nothing short of legends on the electronic scene. First appearing in 1991, the band have released a number of seminal records including Smokers Delight, Carboot Soul and Mind Elevation through uber-cool label Warp Records. Their sound affirmed that dance music could have a soulful edge and paved the way for Trip Hop and down-tempo house music. They even helped resurrect the career of hip hop luminaries De La Soul.
