I really love The Evens

soapy [Edit] [Delete] 23:23, 8 December '08

I know anyone who might be interested in them has already seen or heard them but I've been listening to them a lot - they seem to go well with weather - and it's dawned on me just how much I like them.
I remember when they first started touring and people said it was probably just going to be Ian doing some filler 'solo' shows before Fugazi got their act back together. However these albums and the shows I've seen them play really feel/felt like it was a real band (it is) and it would be such a shame to think that people are only listen to these cds as like Fugazi Lite.

Does anyone know if they're still a going concern? I haven't heard much news about them since they were touring the Get Evens album.

ps, people who pronounce (and even spell!) the name Evans are silly. especially if they're writing for a zine that laughably features the phrase 'reliably informed' on the cover.
