Howdy, we are looking for some new promoters for 2009. We would like to see the best of crop unsigned and recently signed bands playing at The Good Ship and seek promoters with boundless energy, enthusiasm, contacts and promoting ability to run nights at The GS.

We provide tons of support and an excellent, ever improving, regularly updated PA and venue. A mass overhaul of the arena this month will provide pretty much the cleanest acoustics possible in the space. We have a miniscule hire charge (refunded if you obviously know what you are doing) as we want creativity to flourish without too much worry about the finances and we actually want everyone to be paid.

We like all sorts of music and would prefer to have as much variety in the venue as possible. In some ways the more niche the better but ultimately we just wish to work with people with a sheer passion for the sounds. We would rather hear from a complete amateur than profiteer companies who operate a 20 fans and we'll give you a £ for each one thereafter policy.
