I just wanted to post a public apology. I've found it an absolute struggle to keep up with the volumes of emails I receive - nearly 1000 everyday and about a third of which need responses - and am currently 3601 unread emails behind since the start of November (and no, that doesn't include spam which google kindly sifts for me).

It's unlikely that I'm gonna be able to get back to you before finishing for xmas as there's still tonnes to do before the break. However, if you have a quick question post it in this thread and either I'll get back to you hear or rummage for your message or possibly one of our many contributors will be able to answer your question.

DiS is closing down as of Thursday until Jan 14th. This is firstly to allow for a break since the unrelenting (and some what hellish) past few months post-Sky/all-full-time-staff-being-made-redundant and to allow us to get ready for 2009, plus finish a lot of technical back-end shenanigans and implementing front-end stuff which hasn't been done since putting the new site up on Oct 1st (this is not even stage 1 of the 20 stages of development I had planned).

We'll be leaving you over the break with our best bits of the year - if you'd like to suggest things to include in that coverage, post a link (and the title of the article) below.
