Taraf De Haidouks.

(pronounced Taraf da Hi-dukes)

Pretty much my favourite band at the moment. Since seeing them at ATP I've become a bit obsessed. They play ridiculously fast paced gypsy/folk music, and have the ability to make you feel ridiculously happy when you listen to them. I got hold of 'The Continuing Adventures of Taraf De Haidouks' at the weekend which includes a DVD of a concert at the Union Chapel and the history of the band, which is incredibly interesting and really worth watching. I'm pretty convinced that there is no other group as talented as Taraf De Haidouks- anyone who saw them at ATP will no doubt agree. Absolutely wonderful stuff, I'd recommend this band to absolutely anyone and everyone.
