Credit crunch - raiding Music and Video exchange for cheapo CD singles.

shimmetry [Edit] [Delete] 20:27, 16 December '08

I bought 10 CDs in M&VE for 50p each on Sunday, I loves a bargain. They were:
Primal Scream - 'kill all hippies' (with a massive attack remix of exterminator)
Orbital - 'the saint' (one of the few Orbital singles I didn't own)
The Beta Band - 'broke' (a promo with 1 track, but I love the beta band...)
Hot Hot Heat - 'bandages' ( still sounds great, I never owned it before)
GusGus - 'ladyshave' (it's on 4AD, i had to buy it)
TV on the Radio - 'new health rock' (a cd acetate! quids in?)
LCD Soundsystem - 'tribulations' (inc a Tiga mix)
SFA - 'Rings around the world' (this is the album, just without the front cover, 50p!)
Tom Vek - 'things are here to stay' (a 5" vinyl record, so ace.)
Daedelus - 'fair weather friends EP' (on ninja tune, one track is gash, the rest I quite like.)
So, that's my lot. They'll probably all sit on my shelf for ever like the other 100s of cd singles that I no longer play but i'm happy with that. I had to look through 4-500 shit things to find these, was it worth it?
