Right okay, I need an album for every week of this year. So please

your suggestions (faviroute albums of course or hidden gems) please refrain from choosing albums in the sort of league as 'Blue' or 'In The Aeroplane From The Sea' as this is all about DISCOVERY.

The IS a new rule; it must be available on Spotify to be eligable. Whilst I'm up for getting an album every week even if I hadn't heard it I realise this previously limited the appeal of this weekly album club.

So yea submit me your recommendation, I will arrange them into a random order and every week will be one of discovery or revisiting as the DiS Album club returns!

-> Please feel free to include a paragraph or two about why you recommend the album so I include it in original post rather then relying on allmusic reviews which often don't do the bugger justice and it makes it more personal yeah?

As usual expect:
A dedicated spotify playlist if you can't find the current album
A last.fm group for discussion and archive
A spotify playlist for late commers with the highlights off of each album to help you pick out the weiners from the losers.

Hopefully I will be able to get the topics (as well as this topic stickied to make it easier for you guys and to encourage discussion)

Anyways send away :) I will try to get this started next Wednesday if the response is good enough.
