I wantz to buy the missus something to listen to The Bugle on the train to work. It needs to be something she can just plug in and will automatically sync new Podcasts.

Obviously an iPod and iTunes does the job, and I could get a secondhand 2gb for not many pennies but it might not last long - so what are the alternatives for buying new?
