any recommendations? i realise every other band nowadays is 'home-recording' what with the software available and the internet but still...i know of ariel pink and r stevie moore though haven't gotten into either of them heavily. if anyone is a fan could they recommend a starting point (as both have crazy back catalogues)

some stuff i enjoy: of montreal's early stuff, atlas sounds...basically i think i'm addicted to tape hiss.
