I saw Marina and the Diamonds there on Sunday and was blown away by this stunning and elegant venue. Its an old Art Deco cinema a bit like the Troxy in London but with the wonderful advantage that you can actually see the stage ! Similar(ish) to Brixton Academy there are several levels upon which you can stand and watch the gig and thus pretty much everyone should have a great view. The balcony and the scale of if means it really feels like a proper show in a way the Oxford Academy down the road can only dream of. I m really looking forward to seeing some more gigs there soon after such a nice surprise. Any one else been there for a gig ?
