Really surprised I didn't see a thread dedicated to this already, but today is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death as well as Jim Morrison's 67th birthday. I wrote a small thing about them for my blog (http://wp.me/pm8zG-fj), but I was also wondering, what did these people mean to you? There's no doubt that a lot of great musicians wouldn't be where they are if it weren't for the influence of these dudes.
