The less said about that support act the better, but the exodus was pretty harsh. As we left (three or four songs in it got too much) people were coming in, only to run out again a song later.

Bill Callahan and his band were amazing, I thought. The drummer I expected to be great but the guitarist was the first for ages that had me wondering how the fuck he got the sounds he got, particularly on America, which seemed the best track of the night more or less.

Also liked The Well where you could see Bill nod to them both whenever they had to change.
