was reading an interview with Balam Acab and he says something about the creative process consisting of "drawing in stomping bass lines with his mouse and playing all the notes on his computer keyboard."

What does this actually mean? It just gives me images of making music being some weird kind of computer software manipulation so i'm hoping for some elucidation.
