As a huge fan of the band, I'm entirely unsure how to feel about this. I mean, it's instantly better than 99% of the alternatives and whilst their last record was a bit iffy, their soundtrack work and more downbeat experiments have continued to remain incredibly high in quality.

So it COULD be awesome.

It does annoy me though, as until now I had no reason to be interested in the whole thing...
