I've never understood the popularity of this band, to me they're inoffensive, likeable but not great. Somewhere in the same vein of other North American indie demi-gods (Modest Mouse and Broken Social Scene) who never would have been successful without the gushing adoration of Pitchfork.

Or am I missing something?
