I remember being a 21 year old listening to Scenes... at a listening post in Virgin Megastore (RIP) on Oxford Street and being blown away. And seeing them at Reading Fest on the same Friday morning The Hair and Skin Trading Co and Copshootcop played... then (and now) line up perfection.

I've been pounding both albums recently for no real reason and they're absolute classics. Who else recorded two such perfect beautiful horrible miserable uplifting albums? Seriously?

Favorite tracks? Painless, for me. Love them all but it stands out for me, despite possibly being a bit... obvious.
