So in all fairness I expected to hate that and I didn't; it was decent, flimsy and enjoyable. But an utterly bizarre choice for track of the year from NME, right? I mean, tracks like that were ten a penny circa 2002-2005, it's baffling.

Is there really such a dearth of British rock bands that they have chosen to latch onto what sounds like a poorly recorded Paddingtons B-side? These poor kids aren't going to make it too far without imploding, surely?
