I loved his debut and thought his live performances were pretty magical back in 2010. I remember thinking his voice was just insanely good.

Anyway, not listened to him in ages and here comes the new record. I haven't finished it yet but I'm not so sure... it's pretty fucking bombastic, like he seems to be ditching the delicate melodies for all out anthemic folk rock meltdowns.

Could be an amazing grower, just very BOOM I'M IN YOUR FACE so far.
