Well it's June in a few days time, meaning that we're 6 months into 2013 and that the summer festival season will ensure not many other albums get released now until September time, giving us all a good chance to catch up on what's come out.

Thoughts thus far?

Album of the year so far for me is Rick Redbeard's solo album (the guy out of Phantom Band). Really adore every bit of it.

Have liked a few pop records too; Tegan & Sara, JT & Little Boots' LPs were all pretty wicked.

Only got the new National album this week so will need a few weeks to work that one out.

Also enjoyed Pissed Jeans, Foals, Lucky Pierre & Conquering Animal Sound a lot. Found Miss Kittin, The Bronx and Neon Neon all a bit average.
