I make tunes on Reaper by importing and mashing up loads of bits of other songs. I've noticed that if I delete the original mp3 of a song from my hard drive, when I open a Reaper project that sampled that song, an error message comes up. Why does it need the original mp3 file to be in place? And is there a way to save a project so that the snippets I've used are saved seperately from the original file? That make sense? Thanks x
