Price of albums
Amazon have the Haim album at £5.99. I was borderline on buying this one at £9ish, but £5 ish, deal me in. Also - Savages sub £5!
So I reckon I'd buy more than double the number of CDs I do currently if they retailed at around £5. Psychology, innit. Just feels churlish not to pick them up at that price.
Is it just me? Am I just massively cheap? Or would a pricing model like this if generally applied have a big impact on sales? I'm sure I read a year or so ago a big music biz guy in the US was advocating this to "save the music industry" - would it?
