These days, even for innovative bands, you can almost always point back and say, Sounds like... But back in the late 70s/early 80s, MTV new wave really was new. Now, whereas young me spent all my lunch money on the post-punk subgenre, I made one exception.

TFF, to my friends at least, were shunned for their Coldplay qualities. Me, I even think their third, Beatlesque album is pretty great.

Also: The TFF cameo on the TV show Psych was hilarious and awesome.
