I'm hanging on with an electric guitar that barely works, and an acoustic guitar that's the same, but I've recently picked up a 2011 macbook pro running Logic X. I love some of it, though it's designed for a higher resolution desktop than my laptop will manage, and the lack of support for 32 bit plugins is annoying. The built-in 'autodrummer' is a useful songwriting tool (if not great for production still). The flex pitch thing seems amazing, though I haven't really figured it out yet.

Favourite bit of kit is my FA-66 audio interface for the single reason that it's never given me a single hassle over five or so years of use.
