So, I am a definite guitar rock fan and I can appreciate 80s synth inflected pop/rock, but I for the life of me cannot get into any modern electronic music. In Indie circles, electronic music seems to grow more and more each passing year and best of lists are riddled with it. Maybe it's my attention span, maybe I need to try harder and I will come around to it, I dunno - maybe I will never like it. Does anyone have recommendations for someone like myself who doesn't really listen to electronic music and finds it hard to get in and stick with it?
