From the mailing list "I wanted to drop a line and let you all know that Spoon is still working on their next LP. Here's hoping they get serious and wrap it up sometime soon. The good news is that once the record is finished they will be doing exactly as I say for the rest of the year, which will mean a lot of Spoon shows to tell you about."

I fucking love Spoon, think they're consistently brilliant. Looks like Divine Fits won't be playing any UK shows after all then, based on the above words. Great news though, Transference didn't grab me as immediately as the last few albums but over time is now one of my favourite of theirs.
