I'd like to call time on certain rhyming couplets that aren't great to start with, yet crop up with horrific regularity:
Rules - School
Boys- Toys
Cry - Die - Why - etc.

And, just a personal hatred, but I'd like to put the 80's sounding chorus guitar in. Or the use of chorus pedals to liven up a really dull guitar riff. Chorus. Urgh.

Any other suggestions?
