has anyone else heard this yet? i haven't really taken it off rotation for the past few days.
madlib is seriously on top form here, some of the beats on this are pretty unique and as an album its put together so well with really actually funny skits and stuff. features are largely on point (could do without the ab-soul) and the posse track at the end, 'pinata', is one of the best rap songs ive heard in years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llYilBZw9CM
freddie gibbs is in a league of his own to me, his extremely thuggish midwestern flows coupled with some really gritty but entertaining and likable storytelling put forward a pretty formidable case for him being the best rapper out there right now.
definitely an AOTY contender for me so far, cant see there being much better than this coming out in the near future. whatd *you* think?
