Touts
Mostly inspired by the fact I'm very angry about not getting tickets this morning to see Kate Bush. As a massive, life-long fan I think it's disgusting that the only way I'm now going to get to see her is by paying £1000 for a ticket. Crushing.
Despite her best efforts (and Radiohead's on their last tour), touting is clearly still a huge problem for genuine music lovers. I used to be of the thinking that it's an unwinnable war but now I'm just very much of the thinking that it should be illegal to resell tickets completely. I know that seems quite heavy handed, and unfortunate if you genuinely can't make it to a show, but I can't help but think it's the only way to counter the Tout trade which in my mind is a much bigger problem.
