sorry to jag, but I've been posting on here for a good few years so hopefully I've earned one

I used to play bass in a band called The Mor Paranoids ... we formed around 10 years ago, played a handful of support gigs - which were mainly characterised by our lack of confidence/musical ability, but also featured a few moments when everything came together beautifully - and then petered out after about a year ... we didn't release anything at the time (or even enter a recording studio), but Woodie Taylor (Comet Gain) recorded us at one of our rehearsals and through some Pro Tools magic managed to make us sound halfway like a proper band

cut to the present and WIAIWYA records have heard these recordings and for unfathomable reasons are releasing our mini album 'Circular' on limited edition 10" vinyl as part of Record Store Day ... a few people have said kind things about it - Gideon Coe has even played a track a couple of times on his 6music show ... and so we've temporarily reformed to play a one-off gig - our first (and definitely last) headliner - with Avenging Force and Funsize Lions at Power Lunches in London next Wednesday
