On paper, they should be a band that I would absolutely love, and clearly from the support they get from both critics and radio play, not to mention record sales, a lot of people do. But I can't shake the feeling that there's something a bit off with them. Not one iota of their music gets to me really. Its almost as if its music thats sort of been calculated and formulated in a test tube to a specific formula rather than actually coming from a real human brain. Its like music thats specifically designed to splice a whole load of other music thats considered cool, but has no real personality of its own. Anyone else feel this way?
