Introduce a genre in a three-track youtube playlist...

funkycow [Edit] [Delete] 13:10, 11 August '14

We like genres. We like playlists. But there are some genres that we think we don't like and may not have listened to. Change our minds with a three track playlist (individual track links on youtube is fine)...

First up, my effort at the 'noisier' (ha) end of drone:

1. Yellow Swans - Limited Space (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DF3KSYch8dE)
2. Tim Hecker - Dungeoneering (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE37ihb8ot8)
3. Fennesz - Circassian (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UebSlGQjEQ)

Yep, it's the popular stuff - but classics that I would use to introduce the genre if someone asked.

(sorry for this thread, been getting a bit bored with the music board of late - not enough lists or ranking going on)
