Obviously, being super indie, I mostly listen to stuff you wouldn't have heard of - but i'm looking something a little more mainstream to listen to whilst at work. A nice melody, catchy chorus, that sort of thing.

Over the last couple of days i've been listening to 'DiS stuff' for the first time that i'd ignored over the last few years, mainly because it was recommended by DiS. I should have trusted my instinct - most of it is crap.

I've listened to the following bands I either didn't like or was pretty indifferent too:

Boards of Canada
Sleigh Bells
Cut Copy
Beach House
Caribou
Crystal Castles
Todd Terje

And the following bands that I did like:

Galaxie 500
Lana Del Rey (the new album)
Chromatics
Spoon (the latest album anyway, which sounds exactly like another band I can't think of right now)

Please recommend me further 'DiS music' to listen to from the last few years that I may have missed. It can also be 'good pop' (i'm rather fond of Katy Perry's first couple of albums for example), though i'm not going to listen to Beyonce.
