was listening to 'Michigan Haters' yesterday, proper ugly noise, lots of unpleasant sounds that really do it for me.

and I'm thinking I might revisit 'St. Anger' because the horrible snare and guitars were actually really radical, and just offended purists. and almost everyone else. also reckon the songwriting might be turgid in a good way, in retrospect. watch this space?

also Liars s/t is the best Liars, and everyone loves the rusty bedsprings 'n' stabby electro 'Shaking the Habitual'.
