Even though it seems to have good reviews, I think A Bell is a Cup ... Until It is Struck by Wire is a very good album. It's seductively dark and atmospheric, and maybe their best. Yet you hardly ever see it on best-of lists. It's quite different to their 70s stuff, definitely a treat if you're into gloomy alternative 80s music.
