PADDOX LP release show, Oxford 29/11 (FAO: Ambient/Drone/Electronic types)
We're putting on Paddox at the Old Fire Station in Oxford, this Saturday (29th), ahead of the release of their 3kg concrete-clad debut album, Aphrodisiaque. They do a lush ambient/techno/drone thing, and the live show sees them experimenting with performance elements such as underwater singing and live plate-reverb manipulation. Oxford locals might recognise one-third of the band as Kit Monteith (ex-Trophy Wife/Safehouse dude).
The event will also feature the screening of a short film by JD Haigh with an accompanying score from Will May.
Come! Cheers DiS [/JAG]
