Talking Heads 1980
If you're any kind of Talking Heads fan you should definitely watch this:
It's an amazing film of a whole performance from 1980, filmed in reasonable quality with multiple cameras (in black and white) and with reasonable sound. It's the same band (and set list) as the second disc of The Name of This Band is...so they're augmented with the awesome Adrian Belew on guitar, plus Bernie Worrell on keys, Nona Hendryx on vocals, multiple percussionists and a superb second bass player. It takes a little while to get going but the later parts of it are absolutely amazing. One of the best concert films I've ever seen, less clinical and 'staged' than Stop Making Sense. The last five or six songs, with two bass players and Belew tearing it up on guitar are particularly fantastic.
Also I think I might be in love with Tina Weymouth (in 1980)
