Oldies, remember the 'Indie Chart' in Smash Hits, NME, Sounds and the Melody Maker. After a certain era it meant more than the real chart and now both next mean to nothing (or cease to exist). I think bands get more credit for what they achieve if they come via the Indie label route and are probably more earnest too.
