There's a lot of chat in the music biz at the moment about the newfound power of playlist.

I'm just curious whether people follow them as actively as the industry seems to think. I know that subscriber numbers on the DiS playlists haven't really soared in recent years, and also spoken to a few other people who have no real idea if once someone subscribes on Spotify say, whether they keep checking back.
