Sounds almost exactly like you would expect a song by Richard Ashcroft called This Is How It Feels would sound, except somehow manages to be even worse than that.

I'm not sure whether it's the bit in the chorus where he rhymes the title with "when love it gets so real, yeah", or the bit in the verse where he rhymes "again" with "again",  or generally the 'vaguely emotional but actually completely meaninglessness' of the lyrics, or maybe just those synthesised ah ah ah ah's that's the final clincher, but man this is really really awful stuff.

Probably the worst is the chilling thought that there's a whole album's worth of this turgid stuff and this is considered one of the stronger efforts.

Was a huge fan of the first three verve albums and early singles as a teenager too & the Haigh Hall gig was one of those defining events of my youth, so I get no pleasure in seeing one of my former heroes sink so low. Pish
