I have no contacts in the industry, not a whole lot of money, and don't even live in a city. But one day I hopefully will, maybe in a couple of years or so.
So, as a complete novice, I may as well ask DiS if anyone knows anything about this kind of thing.
I'm doing a fair bit of googling, I'd probably need at least a few grand as a startup I think. And I have a vague idea of the kind of music I'd like the label to focus on. But I'm pretty clueless about the business side or how I would eventually go about it. I'm fairly certain its probably something that I'd end up spending a lot of money and a hell of a lot of hours for not a whole lot of reward, but its kind of something I've always wanted to do.
