Anybody injured themselves at a gig?

I'm currently on crutches as a result of fucking my knee up quite spectacularly at a Titus Andronicus gig in Edinburgh. Towards the end of the show I was down the front having a bit of a jump about when my leg buckled beneath me and I crashed to the floor. I tried to get back up but my knee just completely gave out and down I went again.

What happened next is a long story but basically involved an initial hospital visit, insane amounts of pain, a further 4 days in hospital, keyhole surgery, getting blood drained off my kneecap (twice), more stomach injections than you could ever want, lots of painkillers, some complications, a blood clot, more medication and pretty much daily blood tests. Oh and a long programme of physiotherapy ahead of me.

According to the surgeon I had pretty much wrenched all the cartilage away from where it should be attached to the rest of the gubbins in my knee, but thankfully it wasn't completely wrecked so it's starting to mend now.
